Hotel Del Rey girls complain that they
are being forced to buy drinks while
waiting on their Prince charming to
appear... It appears that management
wants to get the most of the situation, by forcing the girls to
consume or risk being thrown out.
Actually, the truth is that this has been a standing policy for a
long time. It is a way for the Hotel Del Rey to legally secure that
the girls hanging out aren't deemed employees of the business.
New massage parlor
is open Barrio Amon... Zona Blue.
ZB is housed in a renovated hotel at the corner of 7th Avenue and
Calle 3b.
The place has a sauna, steam room and a shower in every room. They
are still putting the finishing touches, but is open for business.

Jocelyn closed
it's doors for good. The locale is now
for rent as offices...
Jocelyn was a favourite by many, where you could stop in for a drink
or two - get frustrated at the bar not being stocked - but it was
made up by low price and some really nice girls.
Well, we thought so.

It's a mystery to us. Why do latinas always wear a bra? It
would be nice sometime to see those perky nipples protruding those
skimpy, sheer tops.
They'll show their most of their bodies, but will always wear that
upper support. If anyone can solve this mystery drop us a line!

The price of pussy hasn't kept up with inflation. We can remember
years ago when a girl at Key Largo and then the Del Rey would could
you a $100.
Now, it's still $100. Or less.
Same thing at the massage parlors and Strip Clubs!
What these girls never heard of inflation? Hey, we're not
complaining, just making an observation.

Night Clubs/Strip Bars are still at
their old game of gouging customers...
It seems that, as business gets tough, gouge the customer and ensure
that he won't be back. A 'ladies' drink can go as high as 5.000
colones.
No problem, you are getting entertainment and scantily clad
beautiful young lady to sit on your lap, but, double and triple
billing? That's too much.
If you need to go to a Night Club, watch your consumption and keep a
good on your credit card! You've been warned.

The holiday season traditionally brings to San José massage parlors
and streets a lot of fresh talent.
Girls from small towns flock to San José, far from their homes and
families - where their fathers, brothers and uncles can't run into
to them - to make some extra cash to buy those Christmas presents.
And then there's the fairs and parades. Many girls come to San José
to see the parades, attend the Zapote fair and carnivals but no
place to stay or money to buy a hotel room.
These girls will do anything for a meal and bed for the night. Or,
so we've been told!

What amazes us is to hear how the working girls in San José
are not professional.
Shit, who wants the locals to get organized? We can't even come
close to imagining what that could mean to us poor suckers.

Some common working girl lines:
- It's a $100 baby!
- Want some company baby!
- How are you? baby!
- Can you buy me a drink? baby!
- Will you pay the taxi? baby!
- You're "wappo" baby!
- I like you baby!
- I can't stay all night, baby!
- No, I don't have a boyfriend, baby!
- Yes, this is my first time, baby!
- You're the only one, baby!
- Please send money, my baby is sick, baby!
